Charles Wingert has dedicated his career to helping farmland owners across Minnesota make confident, informed decisions. He began in agricultural engineering, working with soil and water conservation, drainage systems, and land improvement projects and founded Wingert Land Services in 1976. In 1985, Charles expanded into real estate, creating a brokerage focused exclusively on farmland. Since then, he has guided thousands of families, farmers, and investors through successful land sales and transitions.
A recognized leader in agricultural real estate, Charles earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation in 1993—one of the highest credentials in the land profession—and went on to serve as both Minnesota and National President of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI). In 2007, Minnesota Land Improvement Contractors Association awarded him the Land Improvement Contractor of the Year. In 2020, he was honored as RLI’s “Land Realtor of America,” reflecting his expertise, integrity, and contributions to the industry.

Obtaining the ALC is a five-year process. Requirements include a minimum of $1,000,000 of sales per year, State and National RLI involvement, completion of land education courses and seminars and two days of oral and written testing along with an in-depth demonstration report in Washington, D.C.
